Post Run Happenings

Isn't it so awesome when Tom blogs!  It makes this blog much more interesting.  I almost don't want to post again because his post won't be at the top.  But there are some things that Tom needs to see from this holiday season, so check his post out if you haven't seen it when you read this one.

You can only imagine what relief fills you when you catch sight of the finish line.  Finishing a long race is a very emotional experience.  Scott, Kari and I finished together this time and we were able to go out on the grass by the finish line and cheer our other friends in.  It was an incredible experience.

After the race we were all freezing!  It was so cold.  Here we are all huddled in our space blankets back in the parking garage after the race.

After the race we took a rest, the girls went to see the movie Twighlight, and then we headed for a night on the town.  We went to Beale street to test the flavors of Memphis.  This is Lisa, Chris, Hilloah, and Erik on Beale.

Here we all are at the restaurant on Beale street.  We all wanted some Memphis BBQ.  Yummy!
